This is our 2nd release and it’s amazing. Banquets bring some fresh air into the punkrock landscape. They are a group of real friends, that just want to have a good time. That doesn’t mean they do simple partymusic. The opposite. The boys from New Jersey combine impressing songwriting with very personal lyrics to create heartfelt, melodic, punk rock anthems. That’s what you can expect of (ex-)members of Let Me Run, The Stand In, The Banner, Suburban Scum, and Static Radio NJ. Banquets are sure to leave fans of The Gaslight Anthem, The Loved Ones, Hot Rod Circuit, and The Get Up Kids dying for more.

Earlier this year, Banquets released “This Is Our Concern, Dude.” A 7″ featuring four new songs with a title paying homage to “The Big Lebowski” on Black Numbers. Now Coffeebreath and Heartache is following with “Nothing Is Fucked Here“, the first European release from the band. People who already know the band will notice “Nothing is Fucked Here“ contains the 4 songs off the debut 7“ plus two exclusive tracks that haven’t been released anywhere else. The six songs come on a one-sided 12“-LP with a handscreend b-side and is strictly limited to 200 copies (100 on mintgreen 180gr wax, 100 on clear wax).

Unser zweites Release und wir rasten vor lauter Freude förmlich aus! Banquets bringen frischen Wind in die Punkrocklandschaft. Hier haben sich echte Freunde zu einer Band zusammen gefunden, um einfach gemeinsam Spaß und eine gute Zeit zu haben. Das heißt allerdings nicht, dass es simple Partymucke gibt. Ganz im Gegenteil! Die Jungs aus New Jersey bringen ein beeindruckendes Songwriting mit sehr persönlichen Texten zu absolut mitreißenden und melodischen Punkrockhymen zusammen. Weniger durfte man allerdings auch nicht erwarten, immerhin treffen sich hier (Ex-) Mitglieder von Let Me Run, The Stand In, Suburban Scum, The Banner und Static Radio NJ. Fans von Gaslight Anthem, The Loved Ones, den Get Up Kids und Hot Rod Circuit werden Banquets lieben und schnell nach mehr verlangen.

Banquets haben in diesem Jahr bereits “This Is Our Concern, Dude” auf Black Numbers veröffentlicht. Die 7″ enthält 4 Songs, der Titel ist eine Homage an den Film “The Big Lebowski”. Nun folgt auf Coffeebreath And Heartache das erste Europa-Release der Band, dass nach dem nächsten Satz im Film betitelt ist. Wer die Band bereits kennt wird bemerken, dass “Nothing is fucked here!” die 4 Songs der Debut-EP sowie 2 weitere, exklusive Tracks enthält. Die sechs Songs kommen auf einer einseitig bespielten, auf der B-Seite handbesiebdruckten 12″-LP daher, die mit nur 200 gepressten Exemplaren strengstens limitiert ist (100 x grünes 180gr-Vinyl, 100 x durchsichtiges Vinyl).
